Qualifies for 18 hours of Continuing Education [CE] credit for NABCEP Certified PV Installers
3 Day Solar Training Course
Students learn the details of solar PV installation & design per NEC Code. The course covers NEC Code for solar, site evaluation, string sizing, overcurrent protection sizing and placement, conduit, wiring, batteries, grounding, wind loads, troubleshooting, system maintenance and OSHA safety standards. Of the 18 hours of continuing education credit for NABCEP Certified PV Installers, 6 count toward NEC Code training.
This solar training class would also help prepare candidates for the NABCEP PV Installer Exam. The solar training includes a hands-on project where students will install a complete PV system in the classroom. It is recommended that all students take the 5 day Solar PV Design and Installation or an equivalent course prior to taking this more advanced class.
