This training course is designed for general contractors and roofers who want to learn about selling and installing solar power systems. The course covers the basics of how solar works and the components needed to build a system as well as various solar mounting options. Students will be given an introduction to basic solar quoting, site evaluation and shade analysis tools. The class also provides an overview of government incentives for solar and financing options available to consumers. The training includes a hands-on project where students will install a complete PV system in the classroom.
