Ambassador Energy’s CEO has Achieved a Spot on the Short and Prestigious List of NABCEP’s First Certified Solar PV Technical Sales Professionals
Having already been certified by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners [NABCEP] as a Certified PV Installer, Steve Fulgham, CEO of Ambassador Energy, enrolled in the first round of testing for NABCEP’s newest certification. He is one of only 97 in North America to pass the test.
“We were all shocked when the certificate arrived. Then we saw the name on it and realized that our fearless leader, Steve Fulgham, was up to it again,” said Kelly Smith, president of Ambassador Energy, “Leading by example, he wanted to further qualify himself and our company as a leader in the solar industry. The funny part was that he didn’t tell any of us that he was even enrolled in the inaugural testing. True to form, he was stealth and brilliant, as he took it and passed it without a hitch. He has now challenged our employees to getting at least the NABCEP Entry Level accreditation under their belts.”
In April 2010, Fulgham earned his first NABCEP certification. He has also contributed to a task force for NABCEP and is pictured on their brochure as one of the ‘Faces of NABCEP’. “I have always loved the difficulty of the NABCEP testing materials,” said Fulgham. “I believe that NABCEP differentiates those who casually perform solar installations from those who are truly committed to the integrity and future of the solar PV industry. I’m a fan. I’m sure that if they come up with any further tests, I’ll be first in line to take them!”
